Every year, millions of dollars in government grant funds go untaken. Hundreds
of government programs offer Free Money to which people may be entitled to. In tough
economic times, they should take benefit of every resource possible. Eligible individuals
are those who are qualified to use stimulus grant money to pay bills, college tuition, and
even medical expenses.

The economic stimulus package that US leaders passed in 2009 included a
free check to each worker ($300). Repair of roads, help for education, small business
loans and mass transit, assistance of failing banks, supporting auto manufacturers that
were having reduced sales as well as companies that invest in cleaner energy and green
technology were among a few of the places the spending is being directed.. Another
aspect of the stimulus plan included the creation of jobs.

The tough times of the 1930’s just following the stock market crash of 1929
sparked the start of the Stumulus Grant Approval. The crash was characterized by mass
unemployment. It was a time when most Americans couldn’t earn enough money to
provide for their families. People lost their life’s savings when the banks closed and were
left on the streets when businesses and factories closed down.

There are still questions as to the effectiveness of this said plan. What will keep
the economy alive is when each individual will live within their means and limit their
debt.
